Report: Gay Couple Kicked Out Of NFL Game Might Sue

A lesbian couple from Baltimore told a Washington publication that they were kicked out of the Sept. 26 Ravens game at M&T Bank Stadium because they were kissing in public.

One of the women told WMAR Channel 2 over the weekend that they are considering a lawsuit

In the Washington Blade article, Ravens spokesman Kevin Byrne said, “We’re aware of the incident, and we’re satisfied with the action taken by the concessionaire, security and police.”

On Sunday, Byrne declined to comment further to the Baltimore Sun. According to the Blade’s article, while waiting in line for concessions, Mary Kate Morris and Nicole Marchetto used a plastic cup to pour ketchup for fries and then engaged in what the women called “casual kissing.”

Soon after, they added, a security guard and supervisor asked them to “stop making a scene.” When they did not stop, they were told to leave. When asked why they were being ejected, the article said, the guard accused them of stealing the plastic cup and beer. The couple had receipts for the purchases, according to the Blade.
