Fundraiser Today At All Peter Piper Pizzas To Help Victims Of Deadly Fire
All Peter Piper Pizza locations in El Paso will be hosting a fund raiser on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 4 – 9 p.m. to benefit the Matos family, who lost five family members in a house fire.
Fifteen percent of all proceeds collected Wednesday evening will go to the Matos family.
Three of the family members were YISD students. The children’s grandparents also passed away from injuries sustained in the fire.
The three children were siblings and attended Parkland Elementary and Parkland Middle School. Eboney Jones, 10, and Deman Jones, 9, were both in fourth grade at Parkland Elementary. Their brother, Isaiah Matos, 14, was in eighth grade at Parkland Middle School. A bank account also has been opened to help the family. Donations can be made to the account at First Light Federal Credit Union. The account is under the name Luis Manuel Matos and the number is 9593606.
