Radiohead To Charge For Album This Time Around
Four years ago, Radiohead set the music business abuzz by offering its album, “In Rainbows,” for whatever price fans chose to pay for it – including nothing at all.
Some musicians were against the idea, but other musicians followed suit, or just offered their music for free outright, including Nine Inch Nails and The Gorillaz.
This time around, there is a set price, $9, for the Radiohead’s new record, “The King of Limbs,” to be released on Feb. 19 digitally. Physical releases of the album will be offered for various prices.
