Sugar Detox: Day 8
Day 8: It’s become clear that I can’t live without dessert.
So here’s a recipe I’ve devised for awesome chocolate mousse:
Make a Jello sugar-free chocolate pudding recipe (instant) with half the amount of milk. Now take the pudding and combine it with one small tub of Cool Whip Lite until completely mixed.
Voila, low-sugar chocolate mousse!
I’m going to make this tomorrow and let you know the sugar content. I might add some strawberries, raspberries or blackberries if I’m feeling extra frisky.
I’ve had a ton of support from people at work. Mark Ross gave me some low-sodium almonds to snack on (which are delicious) and also suggested I start doing some physical activity, like taking a 30-minute walk everyday. I’m still too lazy for that right now. If I haven’t lost any weight by the 15th day, I’ll start working out.
