Sugar Detox: Day 11
Day 11: Welcomed Distractions
After yesterday’s complete meltdown of all discipline and self-respect, a new addition to my family is a welcome distraction.
We rescued a puppy today.
It’s part of a new diet called, “You’re too busy chasing around a puppy to even think about food.”
I’d highly recommend it. The only reason I have time to write today’s blog is because Georgia is currently asleep.
And as for yesterday’s cheating, that will never happen again.
I woke up feeling so ill this morning I almost called in sick to work. I blame the food.
To be fair, I also could be coming down with something. Who knows.
I find it absolutely astounding that I could ingest that kind of food on a regular basis and not feel wretched. I can’t believe how sensitive my body is to what I put into it.
My mistake has motivated me even more to cut out sugar and unhealthy food in my diet. There is such a direct relationship between what I put in my body and how I feel.
I never want to feel like that again.
