Angela has reported extensively on the drug war and its impact on families on both sides of the border. She is the only U.S. reporter to regularly report from Juarez, Mexico?s murder capital.

Her work also includes coverage of immigration, trade and border health issues. She has also reported on Mexico?s democratic transition covering the last three presidential elections and will cover the 2012 race as well.

Angela has worked with Belo since 1994 when she was hired by WFAA-TV in Dallas. In 1999 Belo?s Houston station KHOU hired Angela to open a Mexico City Bureau.
