Central El Paso SWAT Situation

Police shut down streets in Central El Paso because they believed a wanted man was inside a relative’s home, said an EPPD Spokesman.

Police said they were looking for Mark Hernandez.

According to investigators, Hernandez was involved in a shooting Saturday night, but when they went looking for him, nobody was there.

Concerned neighbors called into ABC-7 and said they were afraid to leave their homes near Porter Street after seeing what appeared to be a SWAT standoff right outside their windows.
