FAMILY: My family and I have lived in the City of Scorrco for 30 years. I am married to Nancy with our children are Brittany and Joseph both of whom attended Sanchez Middle school and graduated Socorro High School . We have two grandchildren Mia, and Zoe. I also have two another children are Jeriami and my granddaughters Kenzie and Chloe that live in Lubbock Tx and JoEllen and my two grandchildren Gaby and Calebs which they lives Sndyer Tx.

NUMBER-ONE CAMPAIGN FOCUS: Is to return civility to the council while attacking a few specific problems: the physical decay of neighborhoods, growing lawlessness and people’s lack of confidence in the police. To bring diversified experience from a cross section of viewpoint as well as maintaining professionalism and integrity to the table. Socorro has a lot of potential that can be developed in so many ways. This could lead to increased growth for businesses, better employment opportunities.

WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM YOUR OPPONENTS? What sets me apart from my opponents is, we need to have fair representation for our city. I will stand on honesty, accountability and integrity in serving the citizens of Socorro. I am the better choice because the choices we make today affect us tomorrow. Through the experience of Law Enforcement and having a vision of what we can become, I believe I will do my best for the City of Socorro today and in the years to come.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE THAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE POSITION YOU SEEK: I have been in the Law Enforcment over 21 years and I am retired . In both professions I have spent extensive time in positions of leadership and management and managed personnel and resources receiving two Commander’s awards for my civilian service. To be successful in both professions you must have a high degree of commitment to your job, and those who are working or serving with you to achieve success and get the job done. I know that teamwork is essential to be successful in anything you do.

IF YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO REVOKE ONE ORDINANCE IN Socorro IMMEDIATELY UPON TAKING OFFICE, WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE? I would not revoke any ordinance until I look see if any changesneed to be change.

DESCRIBE A MOMENT THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE: When I became a Law Enforcement Officer.

IN WHAT WAYS IS Socorro ON THE RIGHT TRACK, AND IN WHAT WAYS DOES IT NEED TO CHANGE COURSE? Scorrco is a beautiful place to live and we need to make sure we promote that. Scorrco city departments have done a fantastic job of cleaning up and maintaining the streets and parks. I want to make sure that we maintain that status so that we can achieve growth going forward.

IF ELECTED, HOW WILL YOU BALANCE THE NEEDS OF FAMILY, YOUR CAREER AND YOUR OFFICE? I believe the most important things in your life are your faith , family, country and job.

WHEN AND WHY DID YOU COME TO Socorro (IF APPLICABLE)? I lived in Scorrco sense 1983 my father in law had brought property here gave it to my wife.
