Bomb threat called into Carmike cinema chain

A bomb threat called into the Carmike cinema chain nationwide has led to several of the chain’s theaters being evacuated.

According to lexi18.com news website, a spokesperson for the Lexington, KY, Fire Department confirms that the bomb threat was called into the Columbus, Georgia, office claiming bombs have been planted at theaters across the country.

A manager at Carmike 16 in El Paso said Friday morning they were not aware of any bomb threat and the theater is not being evacuated.
