Man arrested after allegedly breaking window at El Paso Police headquarters

A 28-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning after he allegedly threw a rock and broke a window at El Paso Police Headquarters in Central El Paso.

El Paso police spokesman Darrel Petry told ABC-7 that around 3:17 a.m. Monday officers were sent to 911 Raynor on an unknown problem.

On the way to the station officers were told someone had thrown a rock through a glass front door and got a description of the suspect. The man was later identified as Ryan Maloughney of Fort Bliss.

Police say the suspect was screaming and yelling in front of 911 Raynor before he threw the rock through the glass door.

Maloughney was spotted and arrested at 3100 E Yandell at San Marcial.

He has been charged with Criminal Mischief Over $50 and Under $500. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a bond of $750.
