Sunland Park Police officer praised for saving choking baby

A Sunland Park Police officer is being praised for helping a choking baby.

Sunland Park Police Officer Donald Venable was at a domestic incident Friday morning when an emergency call came over the air about a choking baby.

Vebeable responded to the 100 block of Monte Vista and performed a life-saving measure on the baby.
