Dog found in Deming, heading home to Michigan

soon be reunited with his owner…. who lives in michigan! the dog ran off after the owner — lisa owens — crashed her vehicle on i-10 — just west of deming last month. owens had other dogs with her at the time … but brutus was the only one who managed to jump out of a broken window and run off. owens went back to michigan — but she didn’t give up hope. she was contacted by a friend via facebook … who reached out to animal control officials in deming. volunteers with the deming animal guardians searched for about a week after the crash and found brutus. he’ll soon be reunited with owens who told us over the phone — she’s beyond excited: “i could never be able i will never be able to say thank you enough to all the people who have helped me.” brutus will be taken back to michigan today by “pets on board” — national animal transport company we have more headlines coming after this break—plus meteorologist krystal klei has your
