Humane Society invites El Pasoans to turn old t-shirts into dog toys

The Humane Society is inviting member of the community to turn out Sunday afternoon to help turn old t-shirts into dog toys for their resident animals.

The event, held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the shelter will have guests make the toys and learn about the shelter. The toys, according to the Humane Society, will help enrich the lives of the animals during their stay at the shelter. The shelter’s enrichment coordinator will be helping those who show up and guide them, teaching them how t-shirt toys are made.

The only requirements are t-shirts and scissors.
