The Chihuahuas continue their series with the Aviators
The El Paso Chihuahuas have started the season cold.
Dropping their first three games to the Las Vegas Aviators.
Looking to get into the win column for the first time Luis Perdomo would take the mound for the Dogs.
It would be a quiet game highlighted by some big time defense from Esteban Quiroz.
In the sixth inning all of that would change though.
Seth Brown would give the first lead of the game to the Aviators with a two run homerun.
Not to be out done, Quiroz would knock the cover off the ball with his sixth inning at bat for a two run dinger of his own!
With the score tied in the seventh the Aviators would tack on three runs from RBI’s hit by Dustin Fowler and Eric Campbell
The Chihuahuas tough had the answer to the runs they gave up with good hitting culminating into a three run homer by big bat Alex Dickerson.
El Paso would tack on three more in the eighth to go up by five.
Aviator bat’s went quiet in the ninth as Eric Yardley finished off what Luis Perdomo started closing for the ace pitcher.
The Chihuahas pick up their first win of the season taking this game 11 to 6.
