TRAFFIC ALERT: I-10 west 27-hour closure may impact your afternoon commute

Happening now, TXDot crews are working on a portion of I-10 that will change up your drive for a few hours.

I-10 west was closed at North Mesa around 3 a.m. this morning.

Mesa will be closed in both directions between South Desert Boulevard and Remcon Circle. North Desert Boulevard is also closed from Mesa to Thorn.

I-10 east bound is open until you get to Sunland Park. That is where I-10 completely closes.

Traffic will exit at Sunland Park, then take North Mesa all the way to the Shuster on ramp.

The Executive on ramp will also be closed.

Closures are expected to reopen Monday morning at 6 a.m.
