UPDATE: SWAT situation cleared in Far East El Paso

UPDATE:

A spokesperson for the El Paso Police Department said the SWAT situation in Far East El Paso has been cleared.

Police said there was no evidence of a weapon being fired, and no arrests were made.

PREVIOUS STORY:

The El Paso Police Department’s SWAT Team, along with a Crisis Intervention Team has been dispatched to a home in Far East El Paso, for a possible shots fired call.

A spokesperson for the El Paso Police Department confirmed with ABC-7 that officers are communicating with a person who may have possible discharged a firearm.

It happened on the 3000 block of Tierra Mision.

ABC-7 has a crew on the way and will update this story as soon as we get more information.
