San Elizario Eagles win state soccer title in district 4-A

The San Elizario Eagles are state champions in boys soccer again.

The Eagles defeated the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars 1-0 in extra time in the 4A state title game.

San Eli’s Victor Unzueta scored the lone goal of the match.

It’s the second straight year San Elizario is returning to the Borderland as state champs and the third time in the last five years.
