Bel Air wins its first UIL State Soccer Championship

The Bel Air Highlanders battled through out this tournament.

Having to take Valley View into two overtimes and a shootout, Bel Air knows how to perservere.

In the 12th minute of the game Omar Zamora who was just released from suspesion to play, scored the opening goal.

That would be neutralized six minutes later with an Alex Wing shot by Wakefield.

In the second half with 17 minutes remaining in the game Ivar Arroyo would put the Highlanders up where they would stay!

Bel Air wins their first ever UIL State Soccer Title 2-1!

Ivar Arroyo was awarded the player of the match.
