Family, friends set pay respects to man killed in the Upper Valley
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Pasoans will be remembering the man killed Thursday evening.
32-year-old Marcos Fino Jr. died following a deadly shooting on Doniphan in the Upper Valley.
A vigil is scheduled to held at Album Park in East El Paso to remember the man some called 'Pumba'.
According to court documents ABC-7 obtained, 53-year-old Raul Alberto Orozco started following Fino after he drove past his home. Raul reportedly called his sons to help track Fino.
Police said Raul's truck hit the back of Fino's car.
Fino got out of the car when Raul's sons arrived. Fino and a passenger in his car started to argue and then fight with the sons. Police say one of Orozco's sons shot Fino during the fight.
He died at the hospital.
Fino's 10-year-old son was in the back seat during the incident.
A GoFundMe account created for Fino's funeral expenses has raised over $7,000.
The creator of the fundraiser wrote, "My son was taken from us unexpectedly due to a violent act."
