Here's a list of Veterans Day 2019 parades, ceremonies and events across the Borderland. The list is organized by date and time of the events.

Saturday, Nov. 9

  • San Elizario Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony, 9 a.m.  Parade starts at Socorro and Thompson streets and heads east to the Veterans Memorial Plaza with a candle-lighting ceremony and presentation following the parade at 10:30 a.m. Food vendors and local businesses will also have booths.   • Downtown El Paso Veterans Day Parade, 10:30 a.m. Parade starts at Myrtle Ave. and Florence St. and proceeds down Myrtle to N. Campbell. Parade will end at Texas Ave. and N. Florence. Click here for more details.
  • Las Cruces Veterans Day Parade, 11 a.m. Parade starts at Main Street and Lohman Avenue, north to the round-about, south on Water Street and back to the staging area. Click here for more details.
  • Fort Bliss Freedom Fest, 2 to 9 p.m. Live music, carnival games, beer tents, food vendors, chalk artists, and fireworks at Freedom Crossing. Free admission. Click here for more details.

Sunday, Nov. 10

Monday, Nov. 11

  • Northeast El Paso Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony, 10 a.m. Parade starts at Stahala and Hondo Pass and ends at the Old Glory Memorial for a ceremony at 11 a.m. Call 915-216-9031 for more details.
  • Mesilla Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m. Ceremony takes place at Parque de los Veteranos, Ave. de Mesilla and Calle del Norte in Mesilla, NM. Call 575-524-3262, ext. 116 for more details.
  • Speaking Rock Veterans Day Concert: Tribute to Garth Brooks, 8 p.m. Free admission, 18+ only at Speaking Rock, 122 S. Old Pueblo. Click here for more information.
