Shooting in South Central El Paso seriously injures one person

UPDATE: El Paso Police confirm one person was injured in a shooting. The investigation is ongoing.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - El Paso Fire dispatch confirms one person received serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. at Alameda and Cebada in South Central El Paso.

Police are at the scene investigating the events that lead to the injuries.
