70 new virus cases, but no new deaths reported in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Department of Public Health announced 70 new coronavirus cases but no new deaths on Wednesday morning.

There have now been 3,582 confirmed cases, with 2,430 recoveries and 1,059 active cases currently. The death toll remains 93.

Hospitalizations on Wednesday morning dropped from 95 to 82. There are currently 59 patients in the ICU with 27 of those on ventilators.

Free coronavirus testing has been extended in El Paso County until June 12.
