Man’s body pulled from canal in south-central El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- The body of a man was pulled from a canal in south-central El Paso on Monday after being spotted floating by U.S. Border Patrol agents.

El Paso Fire Dept. water rescue divers recovered the body between 11:30 a.m. and noon from the canal located between Delta Drive and Coles Street.

The medical examiner could not immediately provide an age or further identity of the body found.
