Crash in far east El Paso leaves motorcyclist fighting for life

EL PASO, Texas -- A crash in far east El Paso late Friday night left a motorcyclist fighting for life, police said.

It was reported at Gateway East and Zaragosa around midnight.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, according to officers.

The rider was taken the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the Zaragosa off-ramp as well as the access road east was shutdown due to the crash and investigation.

No further details were available early Saturday.
