El Paso Electric crews restored power to approximately 6.400 customers in the Lower Valley. The outage happened around 11 p.m. Sunday night. Electricity was restored around 12:30 a.m. Monday, according to an update by El Paso Electric on its Facebook page. According to EPE, the cause of the outage is being investigated.
