ABC-7 First Alert: Storm chances stay with hot afternoons

Good evening all. We've seen plenty of storms popping up across the region, especially for our Las Cruces friends this evening. Let us know if you have seen any hail in your part of town! Be on the lookout for gusty outflow winds, slick roads, and small hail as well for the rest of the evening and for the rest of the week too.

We will keep enough moisture in our skies to allow some storms to develop each day across the Borderland. I don't think we will be seeing widespread thunderstorms, but certainly a few each day. Our temperatures will stay hot, and right above average this time of year. The average is ~96 degrees and this weekend we will be very close to 100 degrees by the weekend.

Make sure you hydrate, take breaks from working outside, and enjoy the pool if you can! See you tomorrow!
