Maryland looks to improve to 2-0 when it heads to Charlotte for its first meeting with the 49ers. The Terrapins are expected to lean on redshirt freshman running back Roman Hemby, who had 114 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a 31-10 Week 1 win over Buffalo. For Charlotte, it is a chance to turn things around after a brutal start. Charlotte has lost its first two games to Florida Atlantic and FCS school William & Mary, allowing a combined 84 points.
