One-on-one with UTEP’s Dana Dimel; Miners prepare for showdown against the New Mexico Lobos

EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP Miners will look to continue their winning ways when they hit the road Saturday to take on the New Mexico Lobos.

UTEP is coming off their first win of the season in a close 20-13 victory over New Mexico State.

They now turn their attention to the other school in New Mexico, the UNM Lobos.

The Lobos are 1-1 on the season coming off a loss at home to Boise State.

UTEP will host the Boise State Broncos the following week after the game at UNM.

UTEP head coach Dana Dimel previewed Saturday's matchup against New Mexico and the challenges he expects from the Lobos.
