Week 3 Sweet Play of the Week: Riverside wins second straight Sweet Play of the Week

EL PASO, Texas - For the first time in the history of ABC-7's Sweet Play of the Week, a team has won the recognition in back-to-back weeks.

The Riverside Rangers once again won the popular vote for having the best play in week 3 of the high school football season.

The play was made by Riverside's Vincent Serina.

During the game against Jefferson, Serina stripped the ball from Jefferson's quarterback and then returned it all the way for a touchdown.

So for the second straight week, the Riverside Rangers received a box of cupcakes courtesy of Albertsons.

And as winner's of this week's Sweet Play of the Week, the Rangers were named this week's Community Champions.
