ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Hot and dry today, cooler tomorrow

Good Saturday morning to you all! Our weather today will be very similar today compared to the past several days we've had...hot, sunny and dry! But...weather changes are on the way, and they are coming fast. A cold front will move into our area midday tomorrow, and that will certainly have an impact on our weather.

First off, (something you can tell by the name), cooler temps will return. We're talking mid to upper 80s for the week ahead, which is closer to where we want to be this time of year (the average is 85 this time of year). Secondly, it will increase our winds, giving us a breezy to windy day tomorrow and Monday. We're looking at peak wind gusts up to about 30 mph, especially for those on the west side of town. You'll notice the winds picking up and a change of direction (out of the north), by evening time tomorrow.

Finally, we will see some rain showers tomorrow. The best chance for those are up in the elevated areas, but nonetheless, we'll have a chance tomorrow around 20%. After tomorrow, we will have even lower rain chances for Monday, and then be drier for the rest of the week with those seasonable temps. Enjoy!
