One-on-one with UTEP’s Dana Dimel; Miners prepare for road test against Charlotte

EL PASO, Texas - The UTEP Miners will look to continue their winning ways when they hit the road for their second C-USA game of the season against the Charlotte 49ers.

The Miners are coming off a monumental upset win against the Boise State Broncos.

Now with a record of 2-3, UTEP will look to notch their third win of the season when they pay a visit to Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday.

The 49ers have struggled this season with only one win on their record, and four losses.

UTEP head coach Dana Dimel spoke with ABC-7 about the upcoming game and the challenge he expects from the Charlotte 49ers.

The Miners and 49ers will square off at 4 p.m. MT from Charlotte, NC.
