The Beyond Meat executive charged with biting a man’s nose during a fight last month has left the plant-based meat company. The El Segundo, California, company said in a regulatory filing that its Chief Operating Officer Doug Ramsey left Beyond Meat on Friday. Beyond Meat had suspended Ramsey last month. The news came amid a fresh round of job cuts as the company seeks tries to offset a decline in sales. Beyond Meat is cutting about 200 jobs and lowering its full-year revenue outlook. It cited record inflation, increased competition and reduced demand in the plant-based meat category.
