ABC-7 First Alert: Chilly and windy today

Good Monday morning to you all! If you take one step outside, you know why we are under a First Alert...it's COLD! Temperatures are in the mid-50s this morning and will only warm to the low 60s today. It's the coldest air of the year, so you will notice the chill on your skin as soon as you walk outside. That being said, dress warm!

Rain chances are going to stick around as well throughout the day. Fortunately, it doesn't look like we will be getting many thunderstorms (although the chance isn't 0), but rather rain showers throughout the day. Ultimately, it's not time to wash the car just yet, but wait until tomorrow or the next day...or wait until next week as we could see some rain this weekend as well.

Winds today will stick around, gusting up to 20-25 mph today. It's a really good day for a ponytail and a jacket and pants! Tomorrow, our temps will reach the mid 60s, and warm to near 80 degrees by Friday, so hold on tight!
