Parkland High School teacher arrested on child pornography charges; Ysleta District has yet to have contact with him
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A 43-year-old Parkland High School teacher is accused of possessing child pornography, according to documents obtained by ABC-7.
A complaint affidavit states Gabriel Saucedo had 74 images showing girls between the ages 7 and 10 in various stages of undress, with their private areas exposed.
According to investigators, a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated Saucedo used Google to upload the images between Dec. 10, 2021 and Jan. 4, 2022.
A spokesperson with the Ysleta District says since the district has not had contact with Mr. Saucedo since his arrest, his employment status has not changed. The spokesperson says the district will continue to investigate and cooperate with law enforcement.
