U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents apprehend 61 migrants at Las Cruces checkpoint
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents apprehended 61 migrants cramped inside a moving trailer.
El Paso Sector Acting Chief Peter Jaquez posted photos on his twitter page of Border Patrol agents coming across the migrants being smuggled.
According to Jaquez's twitter, he says the two smugglers will be face prosecution for human smuggling.
