Honor Flight honors Veterans in the Borderland with a trip to the nation’s capital

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico and El Paso transports America's Veterans to Washington DC to visit the memorials that honor those who served.

The trip is about honoring our veterans and rolling out the red carpet for them before, during, and after they come back home.

Most of the veterans now consist of Korea and Vietnam, these heroes oftentimes did not receive the recognition they deserved.

Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico is always accepting applications year-round from both veterans and guardians.

You can welcome home the heroes on April 29th at 6:30 p.m. at the El Paso International airports main lobby or line the sidewalk exiting the airport. You are welcome to bring signs, flags, and well wishes.
