Good morning everyone and happy Saturday! Expect a high of 80 today.

A surge of cold air brought cooler temperatures and gusty winds today, with wind gusts reaching up to 40 mph, especially in mountainous areas.

As the weekend unfolds, an unusual increase in moisture led to isolated showers and thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday, primarily in Western NM.

The week ahead promised warmer temperatures and dry weather.
