TOKYO (AP) — Police say they have arrested an armed suspect and ended an eight-hour standoff at a post office north of Tokyo. The man had entered the post office with a gun in Warabi about an hour after a shooting at a hospital in the nearby city of Toda where two people were wounded. Police say they are investigating the two cases together because they could be related. A doctor and a patient had wounds that were not life-threatening. Police were investigating if the two were hurt by glass shards or bullets.
