Las Cruces Police Department recruiting events this weekend

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Las Cruces Police Department will be recruiting at the Cielo Vista Mall this weekend, answering questions about becoming an officer and the application process.

Applications for the 2024 Training Academy are due December 31.

LCPD is offering financial incentives for newly hired cadets.

The recruiters will be at the mall 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
