Upper Rio Grande: Hire El Paso! Is Now Career Connection!
EL PASO, TX. – Upper Rio Grande at Work holds its annual job fair Thursday at the Downtown Convention Center, but it’s undergone a change!
The fair,once called “Hire El Paso,” is now “Career Connection 2007.” More than 65 employers were on hand to talk with potential employees. And for the first time, school districts were allowed to take students to the convention.
Job seekers with resumes in hand were ready for on-the-spot interviews with potential employers.For those whohaven’t been able to make it out to the job fair,thereisstillsome time. Doors at the Convention Center will remain open until7 p.m.Thursday evening.
