Clint High School celebrates 100-year anniversary

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Clint High School held a pep rally earlier today to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary. Students gathered in the school's gymnasium to watch Clint cheerleaders and dancers perform, students engage in lighthearted competition, and school officials speak on the district's history.

"In 1924, we had four graduates," Jim Littlejohn, assistant superintendent of second curriculum instruction said. "In 2024, we're going to have over 850 graduates... And so we've just grown by leaps and bounds."

Littlejohn also said the district had grown from one school to 14 schools in the previous century, currently educating over 10,000 students.
