Las Cruces Teen Arrested For Suspected Shooting

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – A local man is behind bars after allegedly shooting at his ex-girlfriend’s car.

Las Cruces Police say they have arrested 19-year old Jose Martinez. He’s charged with one count of shooting at or from a motor vehicle. That’s a fourth degree felony.

Police say at around noon on Thursday, Martinez fired two shots from a handgun at his ex-girlfriend’s car while she was still in it.

The bullets hit her hood,butshe was not injured.
