Credit Union Establishes Fund For Wounded Soldier

EL PASO, TX. – A young son of a Fort Bliss army solider wounded in Iraq is fighting for his lifeMonday morning after a rollover crash that killed his brother and sister all while they were on their way to visit their dad in a San Antonio hospital.

Specialist John Austin Johnson and his family are stationed at Fort Bliss. His two-year-old son,Logan and five-year-old daughter Ashley were killed in anSUV wreck.

Johnson’s wife, Lisa, was drivingto SanAntoniowith the children in tow. More than halfway there, she overcorrected and flipped the SUV.

Lisa Johnson was not seriously hurt. The Johnson’s oldest son,9-year-old Tyler is at a Dallas hospitalwith massive head injuries.

FirstLight Federal Credit Union has established a fund on behalf of Specialist Johnson and his family and contributed an initial donation of $10,000.
