Sandoval Sentenced For DWI Murder Convictions
EL PASO — A jury handed down a sentence of 40 years for each count of felony murderto Eduardo Sandoval,a day after his conviction on a DWIcrash that killedtwo pedestrians earlier this year.
Sandoval also was given two five-year sentences for a failure to stop and render aid. The sentences will be served concurrently. Sandoval will be eligible for parole in 20 years.
Sandovalwas intoxicated in March of 2007 when he was driving on N. Mesa near Cincinnatiand hisvehicle struck James Michael Kaiser and Amanda Carrasco, killing them both.
