Two Accidentally Shot While Playing With Handgun
EL PASO — Two men are expected to recover after accidentally shooting themselves Thursday night while playing with a handgun.
Emergency personnel and police responded to 911 call from a Howdy’s convenience store in Northeast El Paso where two men were bleeding from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
The two said they playing with a handgun around 7:30 p.m. when one shot himself in the chest, the other in the shoulder.
The two men were in Chaparral, New Mexico anda passer-bydrove them to the convenience store to place the emergency call.
Both were taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center where they are expected to recover.
