Six Storage Units Catch Fire In East El Paso

EL PASO — El Paso fire officials confirmed that 6 storage units atTrevino Self-Storage caught fire Thursday afternoon.

EPFD was called about 1:45 p.m. and twelve emergency units responded to the 10000 block of Montwood Ave.One person was briefly checked out for smoke inhalation and later, went on their own to the hospital for further examination.

Latest updates indicated that the fire was still smoldering, but fire crews were still at work to extinguish the embers completely.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation and damage estimates were still pending by airtime. More information will be available in our later newscasts.
