PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) — A man who had a close relationship with the mother of a Michigan school shooter says she was worried that the boy might do “something dumb.” Brian Meloche testified on the fifth day of Jennifer Crumbley’s trial. She is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of four students at Oxford High School in 2021. Prosecutors say she and husband James Crumbley ignored their son’s mental health needs and made a gun accessible at home. Seventeen-year-old Ethan Crumbley is serving a life sentence.
