Body Found In Wooded Area Near Socorro, NM

SOCORRO, N.M. — The body of a man was found Friday in a wooded area near Escondido Lake Park in Socorro, New Mexico.

Investigators said a woodcutter found the man and alerted police. There were no apparent injuries or defense-type wounds so the cause of deathis still under investigation.
