ABC-7 StormTrack: Hot day today, near record-breaking highs tomorrow
It was a hot one in the Borderland today. Today was the hottest day of the year so far, we topped out at 97. Later tonight, we are expected to cool down into the 50s and 60s.
Tomorrow and Monday, we will see temperatures near 100 degrees across the area.
Likewise, a Fire Weather Watch will go into effect on Monday for the hot, dry, and windy conditions. Wind gusts could be up to 40 mph.
