UTEP Announces Haskins Viewing, Memorial

EL PASO, Texas — UTEP and the family of the late Coach Don Haskins will hold viewing and memorial events honoring Haskins this week.

Haskins will lie in state at the Don Haskins Center from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The public is invited to attend and pay their respects. Parking will be available in the Rudolph lot on North Mesa Street and the north Sun Bowl lot. No cameras will be permitted.

The public is also invited to attend a memorial Thursday at 6:35 p.m. Friends and colleagues of the coach will speak. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served and parking will also be in the Rudolph and north Sun Bowl lots. No cameras will be allowed.
